Compulsory Basic Training (CBT) - General

Compulsory Basic Training (CBT) is a legal requirement for all provisional motorcycle licence holders.

CBT follows a Driving Standards Agency (DSA) course outline with our DSA fully approved instructors (See Compulsory Basic Training (CBT) Detailed Course Breakdown page)
CBT will normally take you from complete novice to competent learner motorcyclist in one day
CBT begins 'off road' in a safe area and progresses to an 'on road' session where the instructor will assess your riding ability
CBT can be completed on your own moped, automatic or manual bike (up to 125cc) or we can arrange hire of a training school bike (See Gallery)
CBT is available 7 days a week however we normally hold courses on Thursdays Fridays and Saturdays
CBT prices start at £105.00 for owner rider renewals rising to £125.00 if you wish to use a training school bike, all other equipment provided free of charge
