Compulsory Basic Training (CBT) - General

Compulsory Basic Training (CBT) is a legal requirement for all provisional motorcycle licence holders.

• CBT follows a Driving Standards Agency (DSA) course outline with our DSA fully approved instructors (See Compulsory Basic Training (CBT) Detailed Course Breakdown page)
• CBT will normally take you from complete novice to competent learner motorcyclist in one day
• CBT begins 'off road' in a safe area and progresses to an 'on road' session where the instructor will assess your riding ability
• CBT is available Mon – Saturday
• CBT prices start at £85.00 for owner rider renewals rising to £125.00 if you wish to use a training school bike, all other equipment provided free of charge

Compulsory Basic Training (CBT) - Plus

Includes a full 2 hour session on the road, to be taken within a month after completing your CBT.
